3^ PELLEGRINAGGIO A PANNI

IL NOSTRO PELLEGRINAGGIO

Un autobus pieno di pellegrini è partito puntuale alle 22 di venerdì 14 verso la Chiesa della Madonna del Bosco a Panni. A partecipare al pellegrinaggio c’era anche una donna pannese che dal lontano 1965 non vedeva più il paesello. Il viaggio notturno, a parte un po’ di pioggia a tratti, è stato tranquillo ed anche all’arrivo a panni siamo riusciti a scaricare tutti i bagagli senza che la pioggia ci bagnasse. Un buon caffè offertoci al bar “a la taverna” ci ha risvegliato dal leggero torpore notturno. Intanto il cielo si era oscurato ed una improvvisa e forte pioggia si è abbattuta sul paesello. Verso le dieci la delegazione pratese è stata ricevuta dal Sindaco, dal Vice-Sindaco Costanzo Roberto, da alcuni Assessori (R. Gesualdi, Paolo Cotoia) e Consiglieri Comunali (M. Bianco, Nicola Liscio) e, tutti insieme, come prevedeva il programma hanno raggiunto, in macchina, la Chiesa della Madonna del Bosco. Il cielo, appena giunti, si è aperto ed il sole ha illuminato la campana del grazioso campanile.
Il Sindaco Pasquale Ciruolo si è soffermato a illustrare i lavori eseguiti ed progetti futuri. La raccolta fondi per la copertura delle spese degli arredi e di quanto possa essere ora richiesto è finalizzata a realizzare una singola voce di capitolato e la nostra Associazione si è impegnata a realizzare un bene inserito nelle schede che sono state già predisposte. Ai presenti è stato fatto notare il sepolcro che contiene le spoglie appartenute, forse, all’ultimo frate vissuto al Convento e che è sotto il pavimento della Chiesa. Anche il Direttore de "Il Castello" Pietro De Michele era presente alla visita. La pannese che è tornata al paese dopo tanti anni ha raccontato a me ed a Tony Spada, il Presidente dell’ASCD, dei suoi giorni di bimba trascorsi in una porzione del Convento, già in parte ristrutturata, dove c’è in progetto di realizzare una stalla per piccoli animali. Il tempo di risalire in macchina e la pioggia ha ricominciato a cadere fitta ed il vento a prendere sempre più forza.
Tornati al paese qualcuno è andato nella Chiesa Madre dove si celebrava il matrimonio di Costanza De Luca (r piccion) con Pasquale e hanno potuto ascoltare l’Ave Maria cantata dalla voce della nostra cantante pannese, una De Luca anche lei.
Girando per il paese in attesa di sederci a tavola abbiamo saputo, per caso, che, una volta, tanto tempo fa, c'era un luogo dove la neve caduta veniva conservata adeguatamente con foglie di castagno per avere poi durante l'estate la materia prima per fare i gelati più buoni della capitanata.
Sarebbe bello ricreare una "gelateria naturale pannese" per le feste di agosto.
Il freddo cominciava a pungere davvero e pensare alla "nevera" (si dice così) faceva venire ancora più freddo. Ma, mentre una parte dei pellegrini incuranti del freddo, erano in giro a cercare radici ed erbi da mangiare, gli altri pellegrini si erano avviati al Ristorante "Old Garden" per rifocillarsi con le pietanze della locale cucina pannese e mai ristoro fu così piacevole. L'acqua, intanto, cadeva a scrosci ed il vento prendeva sempre più vigore. Dovevamo andare.
Ad aspettarci verso le 4 del pomeriggio erano gli ospiti della Casa di Riposo: lo scambio di una parola, di un sorriso, di una carezza e di qualche lacrima versata al ricordo dei tempi passati ha portato nelle nostre e loro anime tanta serenità. Ad ognuno è stato consegnato una “Madonnina”, una riproduzione della Madonna del Bosco in ceramica, ed un plaid prodotto a Prato da un figlio di pannesi. Alle 18.30 Padre Antonio ha celebrato la Santa Messa ed ha messo sotto la protezione della Madonna il nostro gruppo e tutti i pannesi nel mondo.
Salutata la Madonna con un canto, interpretato dal gruppo di tammurriata di Scafati (SA), ci siamo diretti all’oratorio parrocchiale dell’Annunziata per condividere un momento di sana gioia. La musica ed i canti del gruppo della tammuriata hanno raccolto i presenti in un unico grande ballo. Al Sindaco Pasquale Ciruolo e all’Assessore Rocco Gesualdi sono state consegnate due targhe ricordo dell’evento dal Dr. Alfonso lapolla, Presidente dell'ACAP; le stesse targhe sono state consegnate a Padre Antonio, a Giovanni Cocciardi Presidente della casa di Riposo ed a Tony Spada, Presidente dell’ASCD per la loro grande disponibilità.
Sulla targa era stato scritto “Nell’amore della Madonna uniti sempre”.
Alle due del pomeriggio di domenica i “pratesi” sono ripartiti.
La nostra visita alla Chiesa della Madonna del Bosco è stata come una pausa di ristoro nel viaggio, per ridarci la gioia e la sicurezza del cammino, insieme con la forza di andare avanti.

Our pilgrimage

A bus full of pilgrimages has punctually left on Friday 14/05 at 22:00 towards the Church of Madonna del Bosco in Panni.
A pannese woman, who didn't see the land since the far 1965, took part to this pilgrimage, too.
The nocturnal trip, beside a little bit of rain at stretches, has been tranquill and we have also been able to download the luggages without getting the rain once arrived in Panni.
A good coffee offered us by the bar "a La Taverna" has waken up from the light nocturnal torpor.
In the meantime, the sky was getting darker and an unexpected and strong rain has fallen to the little land.
Around 22:00 p.m., the Prato delegation has been received by the Syndic, Vice Syndic Costanzo Roberto, by some Councilors (R. Gesualdi, Paolo Cotoia) and the Commons Councilors (M. Bianco, Nicola Liscio) and all together, as foreseen by the programm, have reached by car the Church of Madonna del Bosco.
Once arrived, the sky has opened and the sun has lightened the bell of the nice church tower.

The Syndic Pasquale Ciruolo has illustrated the works effected and the future projects.
The founds collection for the cover of the charges of the interior decorations and of what can be actually required, is finalized to realize a good inserted in the schedules that have been already arranged.
They have made the present note the sepulchre that contains the mortal remains, maybe, of the last monk lived in the convent and who is under the ground of the Church.
At the visit, was also present the Director of "Il Castello", Pietro de Michele.
The pannese woman that has come back since many years, has told me and Tony Spada, the President of ASCD, about her days of childhood passed in a portion of the Convent, already partly restructurated, where there is the project to realize a farm for little animals.
The time to get into the car and the rain has become falling thickly and the wind getting even more force.
Once come back to the land, someone has gone to the Mother-church, where there was the celebration of the wedding of Costanza de Luca (r piccion) with Pasquale, and they have been able to heard the Ave Maria sang by the voice of a pannese singer of us, a Deluca, she, too.

Making a walk around the land, in the expectation to seat at the table, we have know by case, that once a very long time, there was a place where the fallen snow was properly conserved with chestnut leafs in order to have the raw material to produce the best ice creams of the area during the summer.
It would be nice to create a "natural pannese ice cream" again for the August festivities.

The cold started really to bite and thinking to the "nevera" (it is so called), it was as we felt even more cold.
But, in spite of a part of pilgrimages not frightened by the cold, that was walking around looking for roots and grasses to eat, the other pilgrimages were directed to the Restaurant "OLd Garden", to eat the dishes of the local pannese kitchen and no refreshment like that was so pleasant.
The water, in the meantime, was pelting and the wind took even more vigor.

The guests of the GHouse of retire were attending us around 16:00 p.m. : the exchange of a word, of a smile, a caress and some tears due to the remembering of the old times, brought a lot of serenity both into their and into our souls
The Madonnina has been given to each one of them, a ceramic reproduction of the Madonna del Bosco plus a plaid produced into a textile company by a pannesi's son
At 18:30 Father Antony has celebrated the Saint Mass and put our group and all the pannesi in the world under the protection of the Madonna
Said hello to the Madonna with a song, interpretated by the Tummurriata Group of Scafati (SA), we have gone to the oratory of the Annunziata church to condivide a moment of sane joy
The music and the songs of tamurriata have united the present in an only big dance.
The President of Acap, Alfonso Lapolla has consigned 2 plates in remembering of the event to the Syndic Pasquale Ciruolo and to the Councilor Rocco Gesualdi: the same plates have been consigned for their big availability to Father Antony, Giovanni Cocciardi, President of the House of retire and to Tony Spada, President of ASCD.
On the plates there was written " Forever united into the Madonna's love"
At 14:00 p.m. of the Sunday, the pratesi have left back

Our visit to the Church of Madonna del Bosco has been like a pause of refreshment in the trip, to give us back the joy and the sureness of our walking, together with the force to go on.
